It is important for me to keep learning about the subjects I teach. In an effort to keep abreast of changes in the science world and to add to my information, I have continued to take classes in the sciences, educational theory, and the use of technology in the classroom.

In April of 2011, I became a certified Smartech trainer. This means that I have trained and passed the certification assessment for training others in the use of the interactive whiteboard, made by Smart technologies.
